The company is a 600+ person, growing business dual-listed in the Australian and New Zealand exchanges. The company is hiring a Global Sustainability Leader who will report directly into the Chief People Officer (CPO) and work closely with the CEO and executive team to define the company’s sustainability strategy, programs and leverage the entire company to execute against these initiatives.
**The specifics**
- In this pivotal role and you will work very closely with a highly capable group of leaders. You will have the full support of the Chief Executive, CPO and ELT to drive your vision.
- Today the company has three main pillars to its sustainability strategy. They are:
- Build cleantech technologies to allow retailers and vertically integrated energy providers to support hundreds of millions of homes and businesses with more efficient and cleaner uses of energy and water
- Implement a Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and programme centred on reducing plastic use for cleaner oceans and programs to protect and enhance our global waterway
- Drive internal sustainability targets with clear goals and objectives as we journey towards net zero
- The role touches on all sustainability topics including diversity and inclusion, but the priority focus areas for now are noted above.

- You will not have a direct team working for you. A key enabler of the job is to therefore leverage passionate Gentrackers to drive these programs - including Sustainability and CSR sponsor leads at Gentrack’s people locations around the world.
- Being savvy on technology is a benefit as we are a software organization which makes cleantech products for the planet. This multiplier effect of our technology being used by many others is part of our Sustainability strategy and purpose. Defining ways to better invest in green initiatives and quantifying the impact is a necessary part of the role. This does not mean that the Sustainability manager will be a Software Product manager but will work closely with the CTO and customers to shape, leverage and communicate on such programs.
- Leverage a change management methodologies, process, and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
- Support communication efforts
- Enable the design, development, delivery and management of key communications.
- Assess the change impact
- Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.
- Support training efforts
- Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programmes.
**This role will give you the opportunity to**:
