**Alfa Leisureplex Group **have an opportunity for a** 6 Month Fixed Term** **Accounts Assistant **to join our team** **based at our **Central Office, Euxton, Chorley**. This is to provide additional support during the busier summer period and also provide maternity cover.

**The Accounts Assistant Role**:

- Full time, fixed-term role working 37.5 hours per week, over 5 days Monday to Friday
- Salary of £23,000 p.a.** **pro-rata
- Office based

This is the perfect opportunity for anyone coming out of education or anyone considering a career change and looking for broad finance/office based experience, as this role covers multiple aspects of finance within the hospitality industry.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Purchase Ledger: Processing of supplier invoices through to the completion of the payment runs, including the resolution of supplier invoice queries
- Sales Ledger: Credit control, account maintenance, invoice creation and receipt allocation
- Cash book posting and bank reconciliations
- Other tasks as required
- Finance experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided
- An interest in accounts and the travel industry
- Solid administration skills including excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in IT, in particular Microsoft Excel and Word
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs grade A-C (or equivalent), including English and Maths
- Able to work well as part of a team and on your own using initiative
