Estate Regeneration Lead

**The role**:
Working in a newly created and dedicated regeneration team, the focus of this role will be to act as project lead for our major estate regeneration proposals and rolling regeneration programmes in key geographies, acting as a crucial member of a dedicated project team, taking responsibility for key elements of the client function associated with the regeneration of Sovereign's own estates and assets.

Geographically, the focus is likely to be in those areas where our stock is in greatest need of investment and / or where regeneration can have the biggest positive impact for our residents, be that in the renewal of the physical environment, improvements to peoples' homes, or social and economic regeneration. It will often be a combination of all these elements.

**Key Deliverables include**:

- To ensure that regeneration projects are delivered in accordance with Sovereign's processes and procedures and contribute to the refinement and improvement of these processes and procedures, as we develop our internal skillset in regeneration and asset delivery.
- The focus of this role is on the re-imagining of Sovereign's own assets, and specifically our larger regeneration projects, whether these form single large estates or rolling regeneration programmes.
- To identify the need for external support where required to support the creation of robust, commercially coherent, ambitious project briefs.
- Act as client representative in ensuring that the regeneration team are equipped to deliver the respective regeneration schemes, managing the project team to co-ordinate, collate, filter, evaluate and challenge information received from internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of regeneration programmes that can be delivered to the required quality and align with the wider corporate objectives and the development directorate's investment strategy.

**What are we looking for?**
- Evidence of leadership (Projects and People) within Estate regeneration
- Evidence of exposure to the variety of dynamics associated with regeneration delivery, resident engagement, commercials, design, planning and delivery routes.
- A customer first focus, experience with the decanting phase process.
- Proven ability to identify, plan, manage and evaluate programmes and projects from initiation to completion, to achieve the stated outputs and results
