School Cleaner

We are now recruiting for a School Cleaner within the Lewis Charlton Group at our site based in Castle Gresley.

Your role will include:

- Cleaning the site
- Vacuuming carpeted areas and washing floors
- Sweeping uncarpeted areas
- Emptying and cleaning bins
- Spot cleaning of spillages
- Cleaning desks, seats and skirting boards
- Cleaning toilet areas and replenishing toiletries
- Cleaning doors and windows
- Checking stock levels of cleaning materials
- Reporting all defects/hazards immediately to your Line Manager

**Skills and experience you will need**
- A reasonable level of fitness
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- Able to manage time effectively
- Ability to work both alone and in a team
- Awareness of health and safety procedures
- Reading skills for following instructions

The role is dependent upon receipt of the following:
1. Receipt of satisfactory references
2. Receipt of satisfactory enhanced DBS checks: and
3. Full driving licence and insurance to cover business use of your vehicle

Hours of work: Mon - Fri, 7.30am to 3.45pm.

- SWADLINCOTE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
