**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**1. The Post**:
The post holder will provide support to our on-site teams at Manchester and Cheshire Construction, responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services on various construction sites and ensuring that all welfare areas are clean and safe for use.

**2. Main Duties, Responsibilities and Tasks Required of the Post**
- Carry out a range of cleaning tasks and general housekeeping to ensure health and safety standards are implemented and maintained across construction sites at Manchester Airport and various other sites across Greater Manchester and Cheshire.
- Duties include but are not limited to cleaning site cabins and welfare areas, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning and disinfecting surfaces and equipment.
- Replenishing consumables such as toilet rolls, paper towels, hand soap, etc.
- Cleaning tiles/sanitary wear in bathroom & kitchens.
- Remove and dispose of construction welfare waste such as emptying bins in canteen, toilets and offices into main skips.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment to clean and sanitise surfaces.
- Ensure that the facilities are clean and suitable for site operatives to use.

**3. Qualifications and Experience**
- DBS check will be conducted and is essential for the successful applicant as part of the Manchester Airport Security process & working within educational sites.
- Driving licence with maximum of 6 points is essential.
- Ability to commute to Manchester Airport on a daily basis, with the requirement to drive to various construction sites across Greater Manchester and Cheshire daily (vehicle provided see below*).
- Previous experience in a construction cleaning role is preferred.
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently with knowledge of proper storage, and disposal methods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and a passion for cleaning.

**Additional Information**
- This is a full time role (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, flexibility to work between 7.00am and 4.30pm.
- PPE, uniform and equipment will be provided.

Pay: £11.72-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
