The Improvement and Culture Facilitator position offers a great opportunity for a leader with some clinical experience, whose core values are to place people at the centre of all learning and development.

The role requires a person who can work with patients and colleagues to co-produce sustainable quality and cultural improvement. The role will involve staff training and development, project management and project support/coaching, and cultural analysis with targeted support for people and teams.

This role is situated within the Improvement and Culture Team. The team work across operational and corporate services to engage, develop, learn and improve. It is a varied and fast paced role, with primary responsibility to enable quality and cultural improvement activity within RDASH.

The post holder will develop good partnerships with care groups and corporate teams in the organisation, and be responsive to the needs of all healthcare colleagues.

Essential requirements

This is a high visibility position which requires a person with an excellent standard of education and experience. It requires a self-motivated person who is clinically credible, and can use this clinical experience to lead and support sustainable change, has experience of quality improvement, project management, people and team development/organisation design, and service user, patient and carer engagement.

The role requires a person who has superb influencing skills and is an excellent communicator. The post holder should preferably have experience with data management in order to support decision making within the portfolio, working closely with the Deputy Director for Organisational Development.

The post is full time (37.5 hours per week) and requires flexibility in terms of working hours.
