The Punchbowl Hotel is a vibrant and welcoming pub in Jesmond, known for our Mexican kitchen and drink selection ranging from cocktails to cask ales.

**Job Summary**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Supervisor to join our team at The Punchbowl Hotel. As a Front of House Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the front of house, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the management team and working alongside back of house to ensure all-round efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervising the Team**: Assist in the day-to-day supervision of front of house staff, including bartenders, servers, and hosts. This includes delegating tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- **Customer Service Excellence**: Ensure all customers receive a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their visit. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently, striving to exceed expectations.
- **Operational Efficiency**: Assist in the opening and closing procedures of the pub. Ensure smooth service flow during busy periods, manage table reservations, and optimize seating arrangements.
- **Bar and Till Management**: Oversee the operation of the bar, ensuring efficient order taking, accurate pouring, and prompt service. Assist with till operation, cash handling, and end-of-day reconciliation as required.
- **Stock Management**: Assist with monitoring stock levels, reporting shortages, and ensuring proper storage of beverages and supplies.
- **Maintaining Standards**: Ensure the front of house areas are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- **Training and Development**: Assist in the training of new front of house staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about our offerings and service standards.
- **Communication**: Maintain clear and effective communication with the management team and all front of house staff.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.80 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
