A well-reputed publishing services bureau is looking for an experienced IT Support & Data Technician to join their fast-paced team in Essex. You will have the potential to grow and develop a career within the exciting publishing sector.
You will be the first point of contact for our support help desk as well as supporting the Data Analyst in processing data.
You will be responsible for dealing with a range of software and hardware support issues internally and for the clients, liaising with members of other teams to ensure the smooth running of the business at all times.
You will be office based and therefore need to commute daily to Braintree.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Front line support to both on-site staff and external clients according to the SLA
- Liaison with the second line of support for complex issues
- Physical set up of hardware
- Running daily system checks
- Completing regular tasks and running system maintenance
- Routine data cleaning
- Routine data loads
- Make data selections according to the brief provided by the client
**Required Experience**:
- Experience working on IT support or helpdesks (would be advantageous but full training given)
- Experience in handling and processing data (would be advantageous but full training given)
- Aptitude to understand relational databases and learn new software packages (full training given)
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to resolve queries
- Good spelling, grammar, and command of the English language
- Comprehensive understanding of Windows operating systems
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritise accordingly
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Have your own transport due to our beautiful rural location
