Hgv Fitter

**Logistics done differently.**

We’re looking for an experienced HGV Fitter/Mechanic to join us at our site in Motherwell. You’ll be working the Monday to Friday Day Shift/Back Shift Weekly Rota we also cover weekend call-out, which will be 1 in 6. You’ll be working with an established team on a diverse range of vehicles and trailers including MAN, Renault & Mercedes. We’ll need you to have your City & Guilds 1, 2 & 3 (or equivalent), experience in fault diagnosis and repair as well as stripping, fitting and replacing components. Preferably, you’ll have C+E entitlement on your licence, however, this isn’t essential. As the contract can have some irregularity of hours, you’ll need to have a flexible approach.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Carry out MOT preparations, servicing and repairs on our fleet of HGVs
- Diagnose faults on vehicles

**What you need to succeed at XPO**:

- Proven experience in an HGV Fitter/Mechanic role
- Relevant HGV mechanic qualification, such as BTEC or City & Guilds (desirable)
- A full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement (desirable)
