**We are recruiting 3 roles which will contribute to UCL's status as a beacon for excellent research culture across the Higher Education Sector, driven by forging closer links with Office of Vice Provost Research, Innovation and Global Engagement (RIGE), HR,and researcher communities to deliver 5-month UKRI funded Enhancing Research Culture programmes.
The main purpose of the Project Manager (G7/G8) role is to:
- Lead the delivery, evaluation, and reporting of L&D programmes funded by UKRI Enhancing Research Culture allocation
- Provide project management support and input on the development of long-term L&D strategy to support positive research culture change
**Duties and responsibilities**
Project Manager (G7/G8):
- Work at pace to develop and oversee the implementation of 5 projects within the L&D space with timely delivery
- Supervisory responsibility for a G6 Project Coordinator
- Take overall responsibility for monitoring timelines and milestones, and for reporting on progress.
- Report to Head of Researcher Experience, Head of Leadership, Head of Research Culture, and other senior stakeholders in multiple functions to support the development of a positive UCL research culture
- Stakeholder engagement including with staff at all seniority in both professional services and academic/research roles
- Draft evaluation and project reports
**Personal specification**
Project Manager (G7/G8):
- Education to degree level or having acquired relevant experience in terms of L&D project management, writing, analysis, evaluation, and reporting
- Significant and demonstrable experience of managing (planning, implementing, monitoring, reporting, evaluating) complex programmes and/or project in a multifaceted organisation
- Experience of L&D programme operation and delivery, working with a complex set of internal and external stakeholders (legal, contract, delivery partners, academics, and researchers)
- Excellent communication skills, working with senior leaders and positively influenced their work
- Excellent L&D evaluation skills, with experience of collecting, analysing, and reporting data to inform long-term strategic decision-making
- Line management or supervisory experience to bring out the best of staff
- Ability to meet or exceed set objectives in a fast-paced and often changing environment
