**Morestarts** is working with a well-established client based in Mansfield, who are a leading provider of design and manufacture services for the rail industry.

Due to continuous organic growth, we are looking for a **_Mechanical/Electrical Engineer_**to join their team to carry out preventative and reactive maintenance duties on a variety of machinery and equipment.

The placeholder must have previous experience of working in a medium to heavy engineering environment for at least 2 years.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all PPM tasks are completed on time and to the required standards.
- Develop the PPM system for key items of plant in conjunction with the maintenance planner to improve plant OEE.
- Improve plant OEE by ensuring issues are dealt with in a swift and effective manner with an effective first-time fix.
- Use RCA to identify true cause of failures and report corrective action necessary.
- Be aware of incident reports and work with operational managers to promptly implement solutions to prevent re-occurrence.
- To undertake any other duties at the request of the line-manager.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification is preferable.
- Able to read mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic engineering drawings.
- Experienced in fault finding.
- High level of understanding of PLC's
- 17th Edition wiring
- Worked with CNC machines, Lathes, and NDT processes.
- Basic experience and understanding of fabrication.

**Salary and Shifts**:
Up to £16ph (doe)

Monday to Thursday 07:15 - 16:00 / Fridays 07:15 -15:00

33 days holiday (inc. Bank Holidays)

Overtime available. Rates are x1.3 Weekdays and x1.5 Saturdays
