**Job role: Food Service Assistant**

**Schedule: Part time, 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9.30am-2.30pm. 6 Months FTC covering Maternity Leave**

**Location: O-I Glass, Alloa, FK10 1NT**

**Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour**

You will be working as part of a fantastic team, serving customers and providing excellent customer service throughout. You will be required to perform basic food preparation and perform general cleaning tasks both back and front of house.

- This is a temporary position, covering maternity leave for approximately 6 months, 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Shifts range between 9am and 2.30pm, leaving your weekends and evenings free - a rarity when you work within hospitality
- The hourly rate is £12.21.

**A day in the life of a Catering Assistant**:

- Basic food preparation including sandwiches, grab and go items, basic hot food if required.
- Serving customers and operating the till, providing opportunities for upselling products, and ensuring you are providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Stocking up and putting away deliveries
- General cleaning back and front of house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service.

**You’ll be set up for success if you have**:

- Previous catering experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
