The Farm
**Overall Job Purpose**
Artist and resource scheduling.
Allocate artists and resources to ensure projects are rolling through the facility without issues.
Customer Service: Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients by fielding inquiries and establishing confidence within Picture Shop, Formosa Sound and The Farm Scripted services.
Communication: Foster internal and external communications to keep employees informed of ongoing activities.
**Main Dut**i**es**:
- Responsible for artists schedules within the company.
- Negotiate with production for artist time.
- When required, negotiate directly with clients for artist time.
- Work through challenges with internal production teams to ensure that we reach an amicable arrangement for all shows.
- Schedule artist holidays in conjunction with production and other stakeholders.
- Long-term take over the scheduling for varying resources across our all scripted television & features business.
- Track bid vs actual detail for oversight of scheduling/billing conflicts.
- Being open and able to negotiate with the production staff and clients when conflicts arise and challenges for bookings need to be made.
- Keeping the client and/or production staff aware of the schedule that they are holding, and any challenge or conflict that that might arise.
- Production Support:_
- Provide support to other Producers on the team, producing, billing as well as gap coverage for project management or take on assignments as needed to help the team
- Customer Relations:_
- Field customer inquiries, issues, and questions. Maintain forward facing contact with clients and guide the sales team, and Heads of Production with regards to schedule and client requests.
**What You Bring**:
Post Production experience, specifically working on long form scripted or feature productions
Knowledgeable of feature and television Post Production practices and the timelines for these.
Accustomed to working with creative teams globally.
Must be a team player.
You must have problem-solving skills and be a self-starter. You must be able to adapt to Production changes, must take direction well and must be detail-oriented, proactive, and well organised, as well as able to grow and thrive in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
**Business System Experience**:
Microsoft Office 365: Outlook / Excel / Word / PowerPoint proficiency
Previous experience with scheduling software: Media Pulse, Xytech, Ceta, or ScheduAll
Operational knowledge of post-production systems and process timelines.
