Production Planner

Our client, a global leading manufacturer have a fantastic opportunity for a Production Planner to join them at their site in Blaenau Gwent on a fulltime and permanent basis.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8am-16.45pm and Friday 8am-12pm
The role:

- Maintain the MPS for all manufactured products in line with customer requirements and available capacity via regular reviews of the MPS and daily management of orders
- Produce a production plan on a weekly basis for manufacture the following week, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and best production efficiency
- Create and issue all production paperwork in line with the production plan
- Print, check and issue all supplier schedules on a weekly basis
- Agree any purchase part/material rescheduling requirements with suppliers and confirm delivery dates
- For purchased parts/materials managed on a ‘call-off’ basis-on a weekly basis issue a daily call-off schedule
- Monitor supplier performance and discuss with each supplier on a weekly basis
- Previous experience within a Planning/Procurement role
- Previous experience gained within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong IT skills including SAP SCM, Excel and Word
- A strong communicator both written and verbal
- An analytical individual who is a problem solver

Salary offered: Up to £31,000 dependent on experience and excellent benefits including hybrid working and an early finish on a Friday.
