SEN Teaching Assistant - Lowestoft

Timeplan Education are working with a successful and highly inclusive SEN school based in Lowestoft.

The school is currently looking for several SEN HLTA and SEN Teaching Assistants to come and join the team on a long-term fulltime basis.

In this post, you will be working young people ages range from 3-19 with special needs and social emotional mental health, providing additional support and delivering individualised interventions. You will be using a holistic approach, collaborating withstudents, teachers, therapists and families, to ensure a high-quality learning experience to children and young people with special needs.

**About the school**:
The school is an all through school for pupils aged 3-19 who have severe learning difficulties and profound multiple learning difficulties. The school is set in the outskirts of Lowestoft, Suffolk and draws on a wide pupil catchment area within Suffolk andNorfolk.

The school is dedicated to ensuring excellent teaching and support, offering all students the best possible outcomes from their education.

The school has a large inclusion department with a team of highly trained and specialist SEND teachers, therapists and support staff.

**About the ideal applicant**:

- Will consider SEN Teaching Assistants with limited experience through to SEN HLTA level
- Pay according to experience £75-£90 per day
- SEMH knowledge, understanding and training (beneficial)
- Experience in a similar role as a HLTA (essential for this role)
- Excellent behaviour management skills and knowledge of strategies
