Job description

**Permanent, 37 hours per week**

The Pro-Vice Chancellor for Teaching and Learning, Professor Jane Owen-Lynch, is looking to appoint a Senior Registry Officer (Distance Learning) to work with the University’s Distance Learning Unit.

The new Distance Learning Unit is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of teaching excellence and high production standards in distance learning courses at the University.

This post is an exciting opportunity to provide operational leadership and management to the Quality Assurance and Enhancement of distance learning provision at the University. The postholder will contribute to determining strategic priorities for the QA team within Registry.

They will work closely with the Director of Registry and the Strategic Teaching and Learning team in supporting the development, evaluation and quality of distance learning courses and the student experience. This involves cross university collaboration to facilitate the adoption of consistent and compliant practice. Taking a continuous improvement approach, the role places emphasis on developing effective business systems and processes to achieve customer service excellence and robust statutory compliance.
