Radiology is a milestone in the patient pathway and, as technologies continue to improve and demand increases, the Trust's Radiology department is becoming one of the busiest areas of the hospital to work. Join us as an Access and Booking Coordinator and you could soon be part of a dedicated booking team that's focused on reducing patient waits and providing a seamless, high quality service.
Working 9-5 you will be trained and learn to book a range of complex examinations. Working closely with the existing team you will share responsibility for booking these specialised lists, ensuring efficient utilisation of appointments including managing waiting lists and cancer targets, and identifying potential appointment breaches.
You will be customer focused and calm under pressure, you will have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to cope with a changing/evolving environment and work systems. Computer literacy and data integrity are also important,.
In return for your skills and experience, you'll be given full support to develop you through an annual appraisal and access to a variety of in-house training and development opportunities.
