Based within the Future Students team in the Academic Planning department, this role will be responsible taking ownership of the research degree admissions process from beginning to completion - including building knowledge relevant to this process, handling any queries and assisting in the set-up of funded studentships. The post holder will also assist with a range of functions relating to Admissions for various University postgraduate programmes.

**About you (requirements)**

The post holder must have: demonstrable experience in working in an administrative role in the Higher Education sector or complex organisation; highly developed organisational skills and have considerable experience using computerised systems including databases and the internet. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as is the ability to work within a team whilst prioritising your own workload effectively. The post holder will need to be positive, flexible and be able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Previous experience of Admissions within the Higher Education sector would be an advantage.
