**Cognique are a small but mighty digital marketing agency that supports businesses using our technical skills and creative marketing expertise. An exciting full-time position is available for an experienced SEO Executive to join our dynamic marketing team.**
You’ll be responsible for developing, implementing and managing SEO strategies that drive organic traffic to a wide range of client websites (as well as our own of course). You’ll have a deep, confident understanding of search engine algorithms and best practice, and you’ll feel right at home optimising online content for maximum performance.
**Here’s what you’ll do**
- In-depth website and online audits, data gathering, benchmarking and competitor research
- Carrying out SERP analysis, keyword research and gap analysis
- Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website visibility and rankings
- Collaboratively work with our in-house Content Writer, optimising content before adding to and updating websites
- Perform regular website audits to monitor, identify and fix any technical SEO issues
- Adjusting strategies in response to changes in search engine algorithms, industry trends or client needs
**- Analyse and report**
- Track and analyse website traffic, user intent, behaviour and campaign performance
- Create, update and maintain ‘real time’ Looker Studio dashboards
- Monitor and report on relevant / agreed KPIs, such as keyword rankings, click-through rates and conversion rates
- Proactively find innovative ways to boost all campaign performance
**- Be curious and communicate**
- You’ll play a crucial role in the growth and success of all our B2C and B2B clients, and Cognique
- Keep a close eye on SEO related industry trends, algorithm updates and emerging technologies, including Ai
- Deepen your learning and develop your skills with relevant conferences, training sessions and webinars (funded by us)
- Share your knowledge with the team and our clients
**Here’s what you’ll have...**
- At least 2 years of commercial SEO experience
- Proven experience in SEO research and management
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, SEO best practice and relevant analytics tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- First class organisational skills and an ability to prioritise
