Since its formation in 2000, Network Plus Group has gone from strength to strength following successful contract awards and acquisitions. The Group comprises Network Plus Services, Go Traffic Management, Capital Traffic Management, EOS and Network Plus Multi Utility.
Network Plus is now one of the UK’s leading utility and infrastructure providers, with offices and depots stretching from Carlisle to the South coast. We deliver services to clients and the public 24/7/365.
Core services include repair, maintenance, construction and installation of utility and infrastructure assets. We provide traffic management through our sister businesses; Go Traffic Management and Capital Traffic Management. Vegetation management and tree cutting activities are provided through EOS Contracting.

**Our Role**
As a Yard Operative, you will have ultimate responsibility for everything that moves within your yard and stores depot. The depot is to be run to support operations, ensuring we provide a professional service while maintaining the company procedures and policies.
**Key Responsibilities**
We are looking for someone to ensure all deliveries are received and checked upon arrival and report any discrepancies
We are looking for someone to manage all other resources e.g. materials and plant
We are looking for someone to ensure that all movements of Plant are recorded on Manual Hire Notes, recording any damage
We are looking for someone to ensure all contract costs are accurately allocated to the correct project codes and in the correct weeks Area, Agent Codes etc.
We are looking for someone to perform all tasks to ISO standards and procedures
We are looking for someone to maximise plant and vehicle utilisation
We are looking for someone to ensure that all plant and equipment is in full working order, where necessary to carry out minor maintenance of this equipment
We are looking for someone to manage and reduce wastage of materials
We are looking for someone to take ownership of overall process - think ahead, determine and implement efficient methods of working
We are looking for someone to ensure a safe working environment; walking the depot regularly to check all areas are safe and free of any potential hazards
We are looking for someone to ensure that the yard / stores areas are kept clean and tidy
We are looking for someone to keep security of the yard / stores to the highest level, ensuring gates are locked during the working day
We are looking for someone to ensure that space in the yards / stores areas are optimized
**Experience and Qualifications**
Telehandler license
Full UK Driving Licence
A maintenance background would be advantageous, this could include, maintenance of vehicles, plant, electrics etc
Computer literate
