Class 1 HGV Drivers
We require Class 1 HGV Drivers for temp to perm position at DHL Express based at East Midlands Airport in Castle Donington. As a Class 1 HGV driver you will be trunking airport cargo to different airports and RDC'S throughout the UK with 2-3 sleep outs perweek.

This is an temp to perm position with Class 1 HGV drivers being required to:

- Undertake trunking and trailer swaps of import and export goods, no multi drops, no handball
- **Night shift** with start between **20:00 and 23:00**:

- **One week 3 sleep out working Sunday till Friday**:

- **Next week 2 sleep outs working Monday to Thursday**:

- Work between 8 to 11 hour shifts
- 9 hours guaranteed shift pay
- OT paid after 40h
- 45 minutes unpaid break
- No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's)
- 5 years work history covered with references or ability to provide one for vetting purposes
- clear DBS (criminal records)

**Class 1 HGV Drivers will receive**:PAYE for first 12 weeks** Weekday 0800 to 1900 - £16.00 per hour

Weeknight 1900 to 0800 - £18.30 per hour

Saturday day 0800 to 1900 - £17.00 per hour

Saturday night 1900 to 0800 - £19.30 per hour

Sunday day 0800 to 1900 - £18.00 per hour

Sunday night 1900 to 0800 - £20.30 per hour

Overtime after 40 hours - £24.00 per hour

**After 12 weeks opportunity to be taken on PERMANENT**:

- Annual salary starting from £35 622 to £39 774 NOT INCLUDING OVERTIME
