**Private Assets Investment Specialist / Private Assets Solutions / Portfolio Construction / Private Equity / Modelling / Private Markets / Investment Manager / Portfolio Manager**

**The Role**
- This role will work with clients globally to provide investment strategy and portfolio construction advice, with a particular focus on delivering private market solutions.
- A client-focused approach: Each mandate solution is driven by the client's needs and combines a number of modular building blocks from investment selection and management, structuring and execution, to investment administration

**Manage solutions and portfolios**:

- Assist lead portfolio managers in the portfolio management and investment process of Private Asset Solutions Funds and client mandates;
- Monitor developments in private asset markets and provide strategic views and research into new investment ideas;
**Develop solutions**:

- Model and optimise private assets portfolio allocations based on specific set of client objectives and constraints, leveraging the existing tools in place and proactively inputting into and working on improving such tools;
- Using the insights from the client engagement and the planned portfolio investments, proactively input into the appropriate vehicle structure to use for the solutions being developed through the collaboration with Legal, Tax, and Product teams;
- Work closely with the Operations team to design the operating model required to deliver new and innovative structures (e.g., new models required semi-liquid structures in the effort to democratise private assets);
**Build the business**
- Work closely with the distribution teams and participate in client and internal presentations representing the Private Asset Solutions capabilities;
- Participate fully in the strategic development of the business.

**The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need**
- A professional qualification such as CFA, CAIA or other could be attractive but is not essential
- Investment background (primary, secondaries, or co-investments) in an asset manager, alternatives manager, private investment firm, advisor or asset consultant
- Experience working in fast-moving environment and dealing with ambiguity
- Experience managing private asset investment portfolios an advantage
- Experience in one or more private asset classes (e.g., Private Equity, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Private Credit, Impact strategies)

**The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help**
- Strong quantitative and spreadsheet based modelling capabilities. Coding skills are an advantage but not essential
- A high degree of economic literacy on private and public markets with a keen understanding of different asset classes
- Structured thinker with high levels of initiative and ability to think on your feet and stay calm under pressure
- Developing pitches and clearly communicate concepts in a client friendly format
- Ability to interact with, motivate and manage a broad range of stakeholders across the business
- Meeting strict deadlines
- Taking ownership of work and consistently delivering to a high standard of quality
- Confident communicator, able to interact with senior team members and clients
- Muti-tasking and able to prioritise workflow without supervision
- Imagination, motivation, curiosity and drive
- A second European language an advantage
