A leading business at the forefront of renewable technology and catalytic innovation are expanding their team in the Cheshire area. The business is in a great growth period with lots of expansion within R&D and need confident and passionate scientists tojoin their team.

The scientist will need a great understanding of surfactants and be able to follow safety policies & procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of health and safety practices. They will be carrying out excellent quality R&D, with carefully plannedand executed experiments and go on to critically analyse results and interpret data to draw key conclusions and recommendations.

**Key Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Carrying out excellent quality R&D, with carefully planned and executed experiments interpreting data to draw key conclusions and recommendations.
- Communicating data, creating reports and interacting during meetings.
- Analyse and test surfactant samples for basic performance as surfactants or in water-based formulations
- Develop understanding of surfactants market and product requirements through experimentation

**Senior ScientistRequired Skills/Experience**:

- A strong understanding and experience in surfactants and polymerisation.
- Experience of highly reactive chemistry, preferably alkoxylation, other polymerisation catalysis and / or use of high-pressure systems.
