Junior Technical Writer

This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Technical Writer to join an engineering business which is recognised as industry leaders in energy generating solutions.

The purpose of the Junior Technical Writer role is to co-ordinate, produce and ensure the delivery of professionally written winning proposals that clearly articulate our value proposition and expertise for new business opportunities in a wide range of industries.

The role will focus on creating, planning and writing proposals from initial PQQ to full and final tender submission.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supporting the sales & marketing team to:

- Research sectors, industry and company profile to support the development of a comprehensive bid proposal
- Create informative and engaging presentations and other supporting documents to ensure a compelling and informative submission at all stages of the tender process
- Ensure all documentation is compliant and validated to meet legislation, procedures and policies
- Engage with all relevant stakeholders and influence effective contributions
- Ensure bids are completed to deadline and have the required approval
- Develop a suite of standard tender response answers that form an adaptable template and maintain a library of tender content.
- Producing quotes and project costings
- Reporting progress back to business
- Data input and analysis
- Other duties as requested

**Skills and Experience**:

- Experience or interest in market and information research
- Bachelor’s degree
- Able to work autonomously
- Team player, work collaboratively
- “Can do” attitude and willing to challenge the status quo
- High level of written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail, strong reasoning and judgement skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Advanced MS word skill and proficient in MS Office and Powerpoint.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
