I am currently working with a global Medical Device manufacturer in North Dublin, to help them recruit for a Design Quality Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

You will be joining a multinational Medical Device company specialised in diagnostic and therapeutic imaging, laboratory diagnostics and molecular medicine, as well as digital health and enterprise services, in a role where you will have excellent opportunitiesto gain visibility with senior people at a global level.

The Dublin site is specialised the manufacture of complex IVD testing devices, which include key software elements, making this an excellent opportunity to gain experience with Software Design Quality - something that is much sought after, but not alwayseasy to get in Ireland

**The Role**:
**Your Responsibilities will include**:

- Supporting the implementation of Quality Engineering tools for the development, transfer and maintenance of IVD Instrumentation and related software.
- Providing guidance on to new regulatory requirements as they relate to Design Controls, Risk Management and Quality Engineering.
- Risk Management, Design Verification, Process Validation and Design Validation for products and processes.
- Investigation of Quality issues and the implementation of suitable corrective or preventative actions
- Providing support to Supplier Quality audits in relation to Design Control elements.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors degree in Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance in the Medical Device industry, with at least 1 year in Design Quality.
- Previous experience in Medical Device Software Design Quality is a distinct advantage
