**Overview**
We have an opportunity for a HR Administrator who will be responsible for supporting the day to day running of the HR Department. As the HR Administrator you will deal with a variety of employees relations issues, including supporting line managers through their queries around attendance, grievances, disciplinaries, probation, etc. You will also provide administrative support, process/procedure development and work on continuous improvement within the HR department and the wider company.
Key responsibilities
- Providing a professional HR administration service to line managers and employees on all employment matters.
- Providing guidance and support to line managers on a range of employee relations issues
- Monitor and manage absence, including maternity/paternity leave, short-term and long-term sick.
- Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies and improvements in how the HR Operations function works and what it can deliver to the business.
- Support performance improvement across the company.
- Working with and keeping regular communication channels with employees and line managers.
- Liaise with line managers to manage employee flexible work requests.
- Update and maintain the HR system (Breathe HR) to ensure all personnel data is recorded and kept accurately.
- Managing the onboarding process for new employees.
- Conduct office inductions for new starters.
- Prepare any HR related changes ahead of the monthly payroll.
- Publish notices and send out communication bulletins to all employees.
- Ensuring policies and procedures are consistently applied across the organisation and updating them to ensure legal compliance, adherence to ISO regulations and continuous improvement.
- Dealing with general, day-to-day queries.

- At least 2 years experience gained in a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal skills i.e. tact, sensitivity, ability to listen and to be assertive
- The ability to work quickly, flexibly and effectively
- A team player with a positive attitude.
- Able to commute or relocate to Newbury RG14 1LA.
- Must have Right to Work in the UK.
The role is offered on a part time basis (2 days per week).
Full Time Equivalent Salary £25 - £30k - To be Pro-rated
