Twenty84 is looking for an experienced and collaborative Regulatory Governance VP/Director to join our client's inclusive and successful team. This full-time VP/Director role is based in London with for an investment bank’s asset management division withremote / hybrid possible working and offers an excellent salary of up to £125,000, bonus and a full suite of benefits.

As a flexible Regulatory Governance VP/Director to you will support the company asset management businesses in the broader European region to achieve sustainable commercial strategies within an appropriate supervisory and governance model aligned to thecompany's policies and risk appetite and local regulatory requirements.

To give you an idea of how this business governance control role will look and feel, these are some things you can expect to do:

- Maintain a sustainable Supervision Framework
- Maintain a culture of risk management and regulatory rule compliance throughout the businesses
- Support operational and regulatory risk and control strategies by guiding the business through various operational or related regulatory risk, control and change management activities
- Maintain regional compliance policies, regional regulatory rule mapping, provide ongoing monitoring and implementation of regulatory rule changes (including securities, anti-money laundering and privacy)
- Advise and support various stakeholders on regional governance and regulatory requirements

To succeed in this Regulatory Governance VP/Director to role, you will need a university degree in business, finance, law, or equivalent work experience. You will also require the following:

- Solid understanding of European asset management regulatory rules i.e. UCITS, segregated portfolios, AIFM, management companies, AML, GDPR/data privacy
- Ability to understand and detect business issues and assess their impacts on business and market practices
- Excellent understanding of the asset management business and market practices
- Expert knowledge of regulatory compliance, governance, risk and control procedures, strategies and tactics
