iMultiply are working in partnership with an Aberdeen based Accountancy Practice to recruit for a Senior Audit Manager with a leading Accountancy Firm based in Aberdeen.

**The Role**

The role of Senior Audit Manager presents a superb opportunity to join a growing, well known Accountancy Firm based in the heart of Aberdeen. Working a diverse portfolio of clients, you will play a key role in ensuring a high level of audit quality and service.

**Day-to-day will be responsible for;**
- You will be a part of an exciting audit team in Aberdeen, with responsibility for a team of employees to ensure audit work is completed to a high standard
- You will be empowered to act as a trusted business adviser to the Firms’ clients.
- Be the main point of contact on fully listed and non-listed clients
- Leading and coordinating all areas of the audit.
- Resource planning and allocation, performance management and training
- Behaving as a role model - help the team achieve their goals through your mentoring and on the job coaching
- Liaison with other departments - building strong internal relationships
- Support the leadership team in sales and business development activity, playing a key role in client pitch teams, attendance at group networking, and other marketing events as appropriate.
- Support Partners with the implementation and communication of any new business strategy for existing clients, target clients and the internal business.
- Develop specialist knowledge of a sector and/or technical area, and/or commercial area.
- Engage with clients more directly on technical and audit judgement decisions.

**To be considered for the role you will ideally have;**
- A professional Accountancy qualification - ACCA/ICAS or similar
- Significant post qualified Audit experience in Practice
- Experience in delivering audit and other assurance services to large businesses, including listed and clients with overseas activities
- Sound working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements
- Experience in business development
- Proven experience in managing a portfolio of concurrent projects

**On Offer**

The role of Senior Audit Manager will offer a competitive salary plus pension, flexible benefits and a generous holiday allowance. The banding is not disclosed at the salary level could vary considerably depending on your experience.
