An opportunity has arisen for a **Teaching Assistant** post to support the children of Early Years Foundation Stage. GSL Education is working with a Primary school based in Bury who are seeking to appoint a suitably skilled, enthusiastic andwell-motivated Teaching Assistant with appropriate qualifications.
The applicant must be a committed team player, but have the confidence to also work independently, as you support and develop relationships with the pupils to support them in achieving their personal targets. This friendly & supportive school is offering theposition for the remainder of the school year with the expectation of a permanent opportunity as soon as possible
- Have a Level 2/3 qualification.
- Have previous, recent and relevant experience of working 1:1 with pupils
- Work collaboratively with the staff in EYFS to support pupil in accessing the curriculum.
- Have an understanding of and commitment to Inclusion.
- The ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative when required.
- Understand strategies for managing behaviour.
