**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient delivery of goods and maintaining high standards of general warehouse. A proactive attitude and excellent communication skills are crucial for success in this position.
**Responsibilities**
- Operate a van to transport goods safely and efficiently to various locations.
- Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-journey vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain warehouse
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, customers, and management regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods at the warehouse or delivery sites, ensuring proper handling of items.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise delivery routes and improve overall warehouse efficiency.
**Qualifications**
- Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics operations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Pay: £29,200.00 per year
