**Our Vacancy**:
The Head of the UK Hub Asset Management Department is a critical role within our Offshore Renewables Business, reporting to the Head of UK Hub Offshore Operations. The role is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of Operations Management Agreements (OMA) with joint venture partners and maintaining positive partner relationships.
This individual will be responsible for managing the timely preparation and submission of OPEX, CAPEX and production budgets for UK Hub Sites. The role will report performance against budgets throughout the year to the Head of UK Hub and will manage budget revisions and analysis as required.
The Head of Asset Management will coordinate all O&M management reporting for the UK Hub, ensuring a consistent approach. The role will act as a focal point for requests for financial and operational data and will manage requests for information from within ScottishPower and Iberdrola.
The role will assess operational performance against project investment cases and will identify and lead improvement and efficiency plans to reduce OPEX and maximise revenue. In addition, you’ll be responsible for ensuring operational sites comply with local Environmental legislation and maintains all relevant accreditations. They will ensure a close working relationship between centralised HSE teams and the local sites.
**What You'll Do**:
In this role, you’ll have a number of key responsibilities including:
- OPEX, CAPEX and production budgets for UK Hub Sites, to support business planning processes and timelines.
- Managing OPEX team, and coordinating support of Contract Management and Site Teams, to monitor and communicate performance against annual budgets to ensure compliance with business objectives. Ensuring reporting of any deviations to Head of UK Hub to communicate and manage with senior management.
- Developing and implementing continuous improvement and efficiency plans to reduce Operating Expenses and increase Revenues, as well as the evaluation of the profitability of investment projects for facilities in operation. Leading the delivery of global cost reduction initiatives and business improvement projects across all O&M Hub regions (UK, EU, US).
- Defining and establishing UK Hub reporting framework to ensure consistent and regular financial and performance information is shared with Business Performance, Control and O&M Growth and Processes departments, to comply with reporting mandatory reporting requirements and support senior management, executive management and board-level reporting.
- Managing a team of Partner Managers to ensure delivery of all O&M services, and regular and transparent reporting to joint venture partners to comply with all obligations of Operations Management Agreements and maximising the value of Iberdrola's offshore projects.
**What You'll Bring**:
You’ll have a strong understanding of financial, commercial, and business principles and risk mitigation practices as well as considerable experience in management, reporting and communication of multi-million-pound budgets. You’ll possess detailed contractual knowledge and experience of managing the execution of multi-million-pound contracts.
As an individual, you’ll demonstrate a high capacity for change and experience of leading others through change as well as a high degree of competency in future planning spanning 5 years and beyond. You’ll demonstrate strong team and self-performance management and delivery focus with the ability to balance conflicting requirements.
You’ll be a proactive people manager, leader, and motivator capable of leading multi-level teams, across multiple locations and remotely.
