Part of DC Thomson, it sits alongside The Scottish Golf Show, UK Club Golfer and UK Golf Societies in the media brand’s golf portfolio.

Part of a small team responsible for all brand marketing campaigns, strategic partnerships and events, the Brand Marketing Executive will report directly to the Marketing Campaigns Manager and support the entire brand marketing team with the development and delivery of the annual marketing calendar, aligned with the overall creative and commercial vision for the DC Thomson golf brands.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Support the execution of all brand marketing campaigns for DC Thomson’s golf brands
- Assist with the management and delivery of creative projects to ensure team and agencies deliver against deadlines and projects on time
- Assist the team with ideas generation for key projects and campaigns
- Develop and execute content plans for all golf social media accounts and newsletters that support key brand marketing objectives
- Lead the day-to-day running of social media channels to ensure they are always fresh, relevant, entertaining, up-to-date and accurate
- Create post campaign analysis and marketing reports to assess the performance of brand marketing campaigns and activity
- Manage competitions and support on partner marketing
- Responsible for raising purchase orders and ensuring payment of invoices, tracking and reporting brand marketing costs
- Provide day-to-day coordination and admin support for external agencies
- Source and order merchandise when required
- Assist with organisation and materials required for internal and external events
- Set up and manage internal and external marketing meetings

**Competencies**:

- Demonstrable experience of working as part of a marketing team
- A passion for golf, with a strong interest in and knowledge of the sport
- Experience of social media management in a commercial environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A keen interest in brands and communications
