Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Production operative for our small team of pasty and giant sausage roll makers in our thriving bakery to help us meet the demands from our own shop and wholesale customers. To assist with pasty, sausage roll and pastry production at our unit in St. Agnes. Other duties will include packing products, stock rotation(chillers, blast freezers, freezers), cleaning, assisting the shop when required, taking delivery of stock and helping pick/load orders. Joining a small team you will be required to work well as part of a team or on your own at times. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment in a food production environment. Your attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and adherence to food safety protocols will contribute to the success of our operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that food safety and sanitisation standards are followed at all times
- Ensure quality is maintained to the high standard required of our products.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures:

- Ensure traceability is followed strictly at all times
- Ensure allergen control is followed strictly at all times.
- Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and guidelines
- Monitor production processes, making adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Document production activities and maintain accurate records

**Requirements**:

- You must be comfortable working independently on tasks, as well as part of a team. You will be adaptable and able to react to changing priorities.
- Some tasks are physically demanding and working in cold environments for short periods of time, you will be required to compete those tasks adequately.
- You must be polite, reliable and punctual.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating production quantities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
