**About Us**:
Axia Solutions Ltd is a forward-thinking training provider committed to delivering high-quality learning and development. We work with businesses and apprentices to develop key skills essential for both personal and professional growth. Due to growth in demand, we are seeking a Functional Skills Tutor to join our team and deliver Maths, English, and IT sessions to businesses and apprentices.

**The Role**:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced tutor to deliver **Functional Skills** in **Maths, English, and IT**. You will work with a diverse range of learners, from apprentices to employees in various sectors, providing tailored support to help them achieve their qualifications and reach their potential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver high-quality teaching in Functional Skills Maths, English, and IT to apprentices and business employees.
- Liaise with employers and our tutors to discuss learner progress
- Plan and prepare engaging lessons that cater to learners’ individual needs and abilities.
- Assess and track learner progress using ILPs, providing feedback to support improvement.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Maintain accurate records and manage learners' progress through regular reviews.
- Work with employers and apprentices to develop tailored learning plans.
- Support learners with exam preparation and ensure they are ready to achieve their Functional Skills qualifications.

**Requirements**:

- Experience delivering Functional Skills (Maths, English, and IT) From entry level to Levels 1 and 2.
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of individual learners.
- Understanding of the needs of apprentices and adult learners in a workplace environment.
- Confidence in using technology to deliver online sessions where needed.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in delivering training to apprentices or in a business setting.
- Understanding of the apprenticeship frameworks and standards.
- Experience using e-learning platforms and Teams.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £26,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 per week

Additional pay:

- Performance bonus
