As a Barclay Controls Business Partner - COO Transformation, you will have a senior role within first line of defence. You will be responsible for ensuring effective governance is maintained across key processes and the underpinning controls, in orderto ensure sustainability and strengthening of the control environment. You will be partnering with a business area within Transformation or COO and providing robust, effective and insightful reporting, analysis and communication to management in order to helpensure their business area is compliant.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Working with stakeholders across the three lines of defence to ensure control frameworks remain fit for purpose and are well understood by the business areas and functions
- Coordinating and tracking gap analysis and implementation of policies and standards
- Acting as the single point of contact for CCO services and represents CCO on key controls fora and committees within the line of business
- Providing oversight of the implementation of strategic and regulatory change programs, ensuring that appropriate processes have been followed by the projects
- Assessing the impact that strategic/regulatory change and continuous improvement initiatives have upon the control environment
- Understanding the business priorities and strategy, and can deploy knowledge and expertise in support of these priorities
- Providing support to the business regarding the design, review and monitoring of controls
- Ongoing interaction with colleagues on audit plans, ensuring these are communicated effectively across impacted areas and acting as a key point of contact
**What we' re looking for**:

- Experience in Project or Change Management and assessment of the impacts this has upon the internal control environment
- Experience in working on the design and implementation of controls improvement initiatives
- Experience in reviewing of policy & standards, preparing gap analysis and delivering actions to complete

- Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present credibly to senior stakeholders
- Highly organised, with ability to prioritise and work under pressure, delivering to tight deadlines and multiple demands across a 'matrix' organisation

**Where will you be working?**
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful greenenvironment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play.
