SMC Bikes has established itself as the premier motorcycle dealership in South Yorkshire. We are a fast moving, free thinking company and we now have a vacancy for a full time Business Support Administrator. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with high energy, keen to get the job done and an ability to deliver good results whilst supporting the departments bringing value to the Company. The right person for this role will be focused with attention to detail and confident working in a busy office. You will support the accounts manager with varied administration and accounts duties that are integral to the running of the business. Skills required: - Excellent verbal and written communications skills - Multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively. - Attention to detail. - Good sense of humour with a "nothings too much trouble" attitude - Hands on - willing to get involved in all aspects of the role and business. - Working on own initiative - Must be computer literate and familiar with accounts software. - Experience with reconciling accounts - Experience working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals. **Responsibilities**: - Process purchase ledger and Journalling transactions - Reconciling petty cash /supplier statements & payments - Oversee & organise Company First Aid/Uniform orders/Stationary orders - Process of Warranty credits - Monthly Composite Audits - Weekly checks of Internal sales ledger and debtors, liaising with Service and Sales departments - Weekly banking & process of daily takings - Health & Safety - assist Accounts Manager with all H&S assessments /policies. - Assist with stock takes. - Support & cover for Bike Sales Administrator - Assist with closing the monthly accounts. - Monthly spreadsheets and reports. Our current business hours are Tuesday - Saturday 9am-5pm **Salary**: £21,000 - £23,000 depending on experience
