Previous experience as a Support Worker isn't necessary, as comprehensive induction and on-the-job training is provided, including a career development pathway and range of courses to continue your training. But of course, if you are an experienced careworker, healthcare assistant or domiciliary worker from the NHS or a private provider looking to progress your career and work in a community-based setting, then get in touch.

**What will you be doing**:
You will be involved with supporting day-to-day life of the service users, which will include help to get dressed, washing and bathing (personal hygiene), motivation, shopping, meal preparation, medication, medical appointments, laundry, light cleaning andsocial activities.

If you drive and hold a full UK driving license, then you will also have access to a company vehicle to safely escort and drive staff, visitors and service users to local destinations and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for the vehicle's maintenanceand checks.

The shift patterns cover days and nights, including weekends on rotation (one on, one off). Day shifts are 7am-2.30pm or 2pm-9.30pm, with long shifts available covering both morning and afternoon shifts. The night shift is 9pm-7.30am - four on, four off.

Part-time or bank hours are also available for anyone looking for less hours and flexibility.

It is ideal if you drive and hold a UK driving license.

**Where you will be working**:
Bradfield House is 10 bedded community-based learning disability service based in Worthing, located at 119-121 Heene Road, Worthing, West Sussex, BN11 4NY The service provides specialist residential care for adults with a range of learning disabilities,including autism and sensory and communication impairments.
