Production Planner

On behalf of our well established we are looking for a Production Planner to join their Telford office on a Permanent Basis.
Main Duties of the Production Planner:
- Schedule and allocate work and resources within the Telford production department.
- Raise production works orders using the MRP system.
- Maintain 123 Insight Enterprise platform to ensure full visibility of all production schedules.
- Planning overall manufacturing requirements and updating customer services on status and delivery timelines.
- Maintaining the CRM+ platform on 123 insights to monitor sales order due dates and provide information of any changes.
- Planning manufacture of seasonal stocks and maintaining a product stock value in line with company expectations.
- Liaising with the Procurement team to ensure raw material/component supplies are in line with business and customer requirements.
- Identify supply chain issues with procurement and work collaboratively to an acceptable solution.
- Prepare and co-ordinate off site manufacturing to make sure free issue material is despatched in a timely manner and that procurement are aware of business needs.
This role would be suited to someone who has previous planning experience with the food production sector.
Desirable skills:
- Confident with using Excel
- Capacicty planning
- Working with multi lines simultaneously
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
