**Machine Operator / General Factory Operator**

**Job Type**:Full Time, Permanent

**Location**:Brigg, North Lincolnshire

(You should ideally be within a 20-mile commute of the site in Brigg)

**Working Hours**:Two Shift Patterns available 39 hours per week
- Mon - Thurs 05:45 - 14:15 + Fri 05:45 - 12:45
- Mon - Thurs 14:00 - 00:15

**Salary: £10 - £12.17**per hour DOE

(Late Shift incurs a **£15** per shift uplift)

**The Role Machine Operator / Factory Operator**:
Due to continued expansion, QK Tex Ltd require additional personnel within their busy factory which manufactures high quality lightweight furniture panels to the leisure industry.

There are: 2/3 General Factory Operative roles and 2 Machine Operative roles available

Duties to include but not limited to:

- Understanding the specifications of each task and ensuring the final product accurately matches mechanical drawings
- Preparing test runs to check the machines produce high outputs according to specifications
- Completing routine maintenance
- Cutting andassembling high quality furniture parts using table saws, presses, routers and hand tools
- Modifying components according to measurements and specifications
- Operating a CNC Router/Edge bander to produce high quality furniture parts
- Conducting thorough quality control checks
- Checking output to ensure highest quality

Relevant product training will be provided

**Person Requirements Machine Operator / Factory Operator**:

- Have a strong background either general factory work or machine operating
- Able to provide a high standard of work
- Be aware of Health & Safety policies
- Loyal, Committed and Reliable
- A keen eye for detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- ‘Can do’ attitude
- Knowledge of manufacturing production and processes
- Punctual
