**Job Summary**

**Job Description**:
A well-established engineering company in Leyland is now looking for experienced an CNC Setter / Operator to join our small team.

You should have a good understanding of engineering and machining principles.

You must be able to read drawings and measuring tools and be capable of working on your own initiative producing first class products.

You will be self-motivated, able to work under minimum supervision within a small team and have a willingness to learn. You will be organised, able to work under pressure, possess excellent attention to detail, good timekeeping, and be accurate, flexible and reliable.

As we are a small company you may be expected to work in other area’s when required however this will always be in-site.

**Job Type / Category**

We are a sub-contract shop specialising in short production runs, primarily working with steels, stainless, aluminium, brass & plastics.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7:30 to 16:30 and Friday 7:30 to 12:45. A 30- minute lunch break plus 10 minutes in the morning and afternoon.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**

A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role is required

**Salary**: £11.00-£13.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Leyland, PR25 3GR: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
