**Job Title**: Credit Controller
**Location**: Blackburn
**Salary**: Up to £29k
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Credit Controller to join our client's dynamic finance team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage the end-to-end credit control process, including chasing outstanding debts, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments.
- Evaluate credit risk and set credit limits in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate with clients to resolve payment discrepancies and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline invoicing processes and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare reports on debtor status and contribute to financial forecasting activities.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in credit control or a similar financial role.
- Strong knowledge of credit control procedures and debt collection practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
