**About The Role**:
A key role to further secure the on going success of our business is the Head of L&D. This is a newly scoped role and will assume responsibility for the delivery of our L&D strategy in the UK. This role will have a constant focus on training excellence, leadership ability and growing internal talent. This role forms a key part of our employee proposition and is about contributing to the wellbeing and best possible experience of our colleagues - how they are led, trained, developed, and retained with a lens on future potential. This is such an exciting role for a highly skilled Head of L&D to shape and own the strategy and to influence at the highest level. So we need someone who has the gravitas and broad experience to build a comprehensive L&D offering which will be fully embraced by all.
This role will be Bristol based with proportion of time to be spent in UK & Ireland locations but we actively encourage home working where appropriate.
**What will I be doing as the Head of L&D?**
- Own our leadership culture in the UKand develop the L&D policy and framework
- Ensure best use of our Learning Management content, systems and tactics.
- Ensure best in class on boarding / training for all UK roles
- Embed a strong focus on face-to-face delivery of energising, bespoke workshops and courses structured around - induction, core skills and talent development.
- Oversee our Apprenticeship programmes
- A strong core skills programme ensuring consistency of approach in Retail, Warehouse, Contact Centre and Sales
**About You**:
**What are we looking for in our Head of L&D?**
- UK - CIPD qualified or working towards level 5 and experience of offering advanced learning and development.
- Experience of working with a wide and diverse range of people (ages and backgrounds)
- L&D experience within strong and credible business cultures, ideally service led and at a fast pace.
- High levels of personal energy - can inspire and influence others
- Exceptional communication skills - verbal and written
- Proactive and results focused - gets things executed and done
