We are **Prodigy Escapes**, a **5-star-rated escape room** in Exeter, and we’re looking for a new team member to join our friendly, dynamic crew. This is an **8-hour minimum contract** role, but additional hours will become available depending on bookings, especially during **school holidays**, when we are at our busiest.

IMPORTANT - This role would require someone who is permanently based in Exeter (or nearby), during holidays, so sadly, students who are not available during these periods are unable to be considered.

Our escape room operates **7 days a week, 9:30 AM - 9:30 PM**, so we need someone who can primarily work **weekends** but has the flexibility to cover weekday shifts when required.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- **Customer Interaction**:

- Greet guests warmly, confirm their booking, and ensure they’re excited and ready to play.
- Deliver pre-game briefings using game-specific scripts and checklists.
- **Game Supervision**:

- Monitor games using CCTV and provide hints via the spoken hint system.
- Debrief teams post-game, take team photos, and encourage return visits.
- **Game Room Management**:

- Reset game rooms meticulously, ensuring they meet game-specific reset guidelines.
- Perform daily opening and closing procedures (key-holder responsibilities available after training).

**Additional Responsibilities (As Needed)**
- Maintain cleanliness in game rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning props.
- Conduct minor repairs and replacements on game props and report wear and tear promptly.
- Assist with the **design, building, and testing** of new games.
