Exceptional Support Services is a bespoke organisation that provides a variety of centre and community-based adult day leisure activities. We work with individuals in a group environment providing activities and training to enable individuals to learn and develop skills to assist them in all aspects of life.

The organisation’s ethos is one of putting the client at the centre of everything we do, providing stimulating, interactive and person-centred support to enable them to achieve their goals.

**Senior Support Worker Job role would include**:

- Organising and planning activities for the adult day services.
- Supporting the overall running of the programme and supporting the managers to deliver a quality, person centred service.
- Responsible for the effective running and delivery of the day service programme alongside other senior support workers.
- Delivering and supporting a full range of activities including but not limited to bingo, café skills, art and crafts, retail skills, attending community events.
- Working as part of a dedicated team of staff to provide a quality service.
- Promoting independence to the service users and facilitating their involvement in decision making.
- Developing and nurturing positive, supportive relationships with the service users and their families.
- Carrying out health and safety responsibilities throughout the organisation including risk assessments.
- Opening up and locking up buildings, ensuring that community buildings are effectively cleared down and secured.
- Reporting incidents and accidents to the line manager and completing appropriate documentation.

**Shift**:
Monday to Friday

09:00 to 17:30

Work Location: St Anne’s Catholic Parish Hall, Nuneaton CV10 0JP
