**About the role**:
We seek a highly motivated and dedicated **Child Care Tutor/Trainer** to join our team. As a Child Care Tutor/Trainer, you will provide instruction and support to individuals seeking to develop and enhance their knowledge in various aspects of the care industry. Your role will involve delivering engaging training sessions (accredited and non-accredited), assessing learners' progress, and providing personalised guidance to help them achieve their learning goals. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a passion for education, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners, with a strong focus on individualised learning.

**Required criteria**:
- Proven experience in delivering training in Child Care or similar adult education programs.
- Training qualification such as PTTLS, Education & Training or CAVA (or willingness to work towards one within the role.)
- Sound knowledge of care requirements and standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate learners and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet individual learners’ needs.
- Comfortable using instructional technology tools and resources to enhance language instruction and engage learners in digital learning environments.
**Desirable criteria**:
- PGCE, QTS or a related field.
- Experience creating engaging and interactive lesson plans that align with the learners’ goals, incorporating various teaching materials, resources, and activities.
- Previous work with diverse student populations

**Training and Delivery**

- Full responsibility of delivering innovative training solutions based on local priorities and contractual requirements.
- Feedback on training materials, identifying new and creative ways to engage learners
**Quality & Continuous Improvement**
- Commit to continuous professional growth and staying updated on teaching methodologies, resources, and technology.
- Continuously engage in professional development activities to stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in Functional Skills delivery.
