The Principal Engineer Mechanical Systems role is based within our Mission Systems business area.

**The difference our new Principal Engineer Mechanical Systems will make**

As a Principal Engineer Mechanical Systems you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be providing Systems Technical Authority for the Marine Engineering systems on both the Royal Navy's T45 Destroyers and the QEC Aircraft Carriers, which are essentialin supporting both front line operations and the through life sustainment of the systems.

**Essential experience**
- Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline and a Chartered Engineer
- Experience working within a mechanical systems environment (lifting an handling equipment desirable but also consider experience on mechanical electrohydraulic or pneumatic systems.
- experene of management of engineering to technical solutions and dealing with stakeholders across various levels of seniority
