Design Technician

Our client is a highly successful and multi award-winning small business working in the construction industry offering a bespoke, high-end product to both individual and corporate customers. Due to continued business success, they need to recruit the servicesof an experienced Design Technician to join their busy design department. **Main responsibilities**:

- To work within the design department of a specialist design and build company.
- You will be responsible for designing and costing bespoke installations including associated design drawing work.
- Working alongside the rest of the design team.
- Preparation of CAD design project drawing packages and associated design work.
- Preparation of REVIT design project drawing packages and associated design work.
- Attend internal design meetings and liaise with end clients, architects, engineers, and interior designers in a confident and proactive manner.

**Key Skills & Experience**:

- Experienced in Mechanical & Electrical Design
- Experienced in the use of Revit and CAD
- Knowledge / previous experience within the construction industry.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural technical drawings and schematics.
- Self-motivated and able to self-manage when required.
- Build good working relationships with other parties both internal and external.

**Additional Information**:

- This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm.
- Hybrid working is available after the initial training period with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
