Grove Developments is rapidly growing company formed by the Arora Group to design, build and project manage hotel developments, new build apartments, office fit-outs and secure facilities. Specialism’s include architectural design, quantity surveying, planning, project management and M&E.

The expert team has been involved in a number of landmark projects including the iconic 605 bedroom, 45 meeting room, Sofitel London Heathrow at Terminal 5, as well as refurbishments of the 518 bedroom Sofitel London Gatwick and the 700+ bedroom Renaissance London Heathrow Hotels.

We are seeking motivated Construction Director with a strong construction/ building management background, to join our highly regarded Developments team.

You will be leading the Construction Team ensuring a high standard of health and safety is maintained at all times, achieve high standards of production quality and customer satisfaction and, to ensure budget targets are attained. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and team development, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and proactively identifying operational enhancements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Adopt “zero tolerance” to non-adherence to safe working, in line with the Safety Strategy.
- Ensure a rigorous Health & Safety plan is fully developed prior to any site start, for the entire development process from pre-start through to site completion, across the Region.
- Ensure Appropriate Records are maintained throughout the Project Period and are suitably registered for Archive Purposes.
- Be aware of the production, on-going analysis & mitigation of project risks.
- Assist with the production of construction and short term programmes on the projects allocated to them.
- Maintain a good level of understanding of construction techniques, problems and solutions and work closely together with Site Technical Staff to review and develop appropriate techniques and cost effective solutions.
- Deliver projects in line with client’s requirements.
- Lead the Construction Team to achieve the agreed build programmes and budget targets.
- Monitor and drive weekly progress and liaise with other department heads to resolve any delays or issues identified.
- Ensure that a culture exists within the site construction team that guarantees the required quality of the build process is achieved.
- Support and develop good working relationships with Contractors / Sub-contractors and Supply Chain Partners to maximise efficiency and good production on site.
