A fantastic job opportunity has arisen as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Eastbourne, their global centre of excellence specialising in the design and manufacture of electronic controllers, instrumentation, and drives.

The role as the Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Eastbourne will be working within the NPI Development team and be responsible for liaising with the relevant design staff to ensure the overall quality and delivery of new parts are to the highest standards.You will also work to ensure the proposed design concepts can be manufactured cost-effectively. You will also oversee the prototype build of products in question, prepare relevant documentation and actively participate in PFMEAs (Process Failure Mode EffectsAnalysis) and DFMEs (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis). This role will also require you to work with Operations personnel to allow for the optimization and layout of the assembly areas as well as the assembly tooling used in the NPI build.

As the Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Eastbourne, you will have experience in a New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Product Development (NPD) role within electronics assembly and/or PCB/cable assembly or electronics box build as well as experiencedin the use of ERP/MRP systems(SAP Preferable). You will also have an Engineering Degree or equivalent and 2 years' experience minimum in a similar position. Awareness of all types of electronic printed circuit assembly techniques is beneficial.
