Marlborough College is one of the UK’s leading co-educational full boarding schools, set in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. We are seeking a reliable and conscientious **Fleet Assistant/Driver** to join our dedicated Operations - Transport team. **The Role** As Fleet Assistant/Driver, you will: - Undertake internal and external **cleaning and valeting** of College vehicles. - ** Refuel** and conduct basic checks on vehicles as directed. - ** Deliver and collect** vehicles for MOTs, servicing and safety checks. - Ensure vehicles are presented to a **high standard of cleanliness and safety** at all times. - Help maintain the **fleet yard and parking areas**, including salting in icy weather. - Assist with general operational duties and support wider College transport needs. **About You** We are looking for someone who: - Holds a **current, valid driving licence** issued before 1997 (including D1 or D1 (101) and +E Trailer entitlement). - Is **reliable, organised, and proactive** in their approach to work. - Demonstrates strong attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards. - Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. - Understands and follows **Health & Safety** and **COSHH** guidelines. - Is flexible, with a willingness to work additional hours when needed to support operations. **Training and Development** The College is committed to the professional development of all staff. Full training will be provided, including: - MiDAS and Trailer Assessment - COSHH and Manual Handling - Health & Safety and First Aid - Safeguarding and Child Protection Marlborough College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
